Should I use a fuel additive with my ride-on mower?

Fuel additives claim many different benefits but a crucial advantage is the ability to keep your fuel system free from excess water. Experts say that fuel should be used within 3-4 weeks. After this, the ethanol within the fuel will have absorbed moisture from the atmosphere. The higher percentage of ethanol, the bigger the problem. Stale fuel, or fuel that has water in it, will clog your carburettor, stopping your engine from running at its optimum.
